(1) To share your story

If your story and photo includes children who are under 13 years of age:

Please do not include in your story and photo personal information (for example, full name, home address, or face in a photo) about your child, or any child, if the child is under the age of 13. If we receive a story and photo that includes personal information about a child under the age of 13 years old, or who looks to be under the age of 13, we may prescreen the story and photo to delete or blur any personal information about the child before the posting goes live to the website. Hence, please help us by not including personal information about children in any stories and photos that you submit.

If you are the parent of children who are under 13 years of age:

Unfortunately, we do not accept stories and photos submitted online by children who are under 13 years of age. However, we can accept your children’s stories submitted online by you with your consent.

Please help us to protect your children’s privacy by discussing safety and privacy concerns with them, including how they should not provide personal information over the Internet without your permission.

(2) To view your story:

If your story is chosen, it will be displayed on the “Your Stories” section of our site. We appreciate everyone who takes the time to submit a story. We wish we could post all of them. However, given the volume of stories that we receive, we may not be able to post all of them to our website, or, if we do post them, it may be in the future. In addition, stories may be selected for a variety of reasons including: topic, educational or charitable value, special interest, holiday theme, achievement, or humor. If your story is chosen, you will see it posted on our website. Please note that stories will not be posted if they violate our Content Standards located in our Terms of Use.
